AI content label
An AI content label is the platform tag that tells viewers a post was made or changed with AI, which creators must add for realistic AI content.
What do the platforms ask for?
TikTok asks creators to label AI-generated content that shows realistic scenes or people. YouTube asks creators to disclose realistic altered or synthetic content when uploading. Meta shows an “AI info” label and asks people to disclose realistic AI video and audio.
Captions, voiceovers and edits that don't change what is real generally don't need a label. Rules change, so check each platform's policy.
